FUSED GLASS CLASSES
At Hands On, we offer a variety of walk-in project kits so that customers may do a fused glass project at any time, even without an appointment. If you would like to take a more intensive glass class or learn how to make a project which is not on our "walk-in-project" list, you'll want to take one of our FUSED GLASS Basics Classes. We offer these classes on the fourth Saturday of the month 10am-1pm. Discover the basics of working with hot glass. Come learn about the different types of glass, how to score and break glass, volume control, slumping and dichroic glass. Our classes are designed for people who are not artists but just want to have fun. If you’ve always been curious about how glass pieces are made, this class is for you. Classes cost $10 plus the price of the project you choose. All tools and materials are provided.
Upcoming Glass Classes: Saturday January 24th 10am Saturday February 28th 10am Saturday March 28th 10am SPECIAL NOTE: If you have a group of 8 or more, we can customize a Fused Glass Class just for you! Call us to discuss the possibilities.

EMPTY BOWLS FUNDRAISER
Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger. The basic premise is simple: community members paint bowls to donate to an empty bowls dinner/fundraising event. On the night of the event, guests are invited to a simple meal of soup and bread. In exchange for a small donation, guests are asked to choose and keep a hand-painted bowl as a reminder that there are always empty bowls in the world. The money raised at the event goes directly to help fight hunger locally in the Magic Valley. Get involved by painting a bowl to donate by stopping at Hands On and choosing a bowl. It's that easy! If you're short on time, you can drop off a donation and we'll paint one for you. OR IF YOU WANT TO HOST AN EMPTY BOWLS PARTY AT YOUR HOUSE OR OFFICE, ASK US HOW TO GET A TO-GO KIT. This year's event is on February 17th and we will be painting bowls through February 10th.
Hands On will be hosting a COMMUNITY BOWL PAINTING PARTY on Friday evening January 23rd 5-9 pm. Reservations appreciated by calling 736-4475.
